Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, an affiliate of American Baptist Churches USA, is actively and prayerfully seeking our next Senior Pastor. You will find our congregation to be both loving and welcoming, and certain that God will provide us with a pastor who wishes to find a home within our church family and develop a deep connection to our unique community.
Building off our strong foundation and history, which spans more than 150 years, our church continues to thrive at its location in downtown Huntington, WV. Our congregation is composed of multi-generational families, families who have joined in recent years, couples, young families, and regular attendees. Our entire history is built upon the simple premise that everything we do must reflect the love of our God and our love for others.
We are seeking a strong leader, who works collaboratively with our hardworking staff members, enthusiastic church leadership commissions, and our many community leaders. We look forward to welcoming a Senior Pastor who will continue to grow and develop Fifth Avenue Baptist Church as Huntington's community-wide church.
Our Sunday morning worship service incorporates blending of traditional elements with some elements of contemporary worship, centered around an immersive experience of music and Christ-focused sermon messages. We are a motivated, dynamic, diverse, and compassionate congregation focused on loving God and our hurting world. We are ready to support our new Senior Pastor as we continue to grow our congregation.
